Our Trainings & Workshops
As a comprehensive knowledge partner, we provide practical expertise on future-proof technologies and methods. In our workshops and training sessions, we combine our technical expertise with years of project experience and a deep understanding of technical and organizational contexts. Our goal is not only to impart theoretical knowledge but also to strengthen practical skills—in a way that is application-oriented, up-to-date, and precisely tailored to the challenges our clients face.
Individual or group workshops available
Our training offerings are divided into two formats: First, we offer scheduled training sessions, for which individual spots can be easily booked via our online form. These sessions are designed for individuals or small groups who wish to acquire or deepen specific knowledge.
In addition, we offer all topics—and in some cases, exclusively—as group training sessions. These are tailored specifically to your company, and we work with you to coordinate both the content and the logistics. For more information, specific inquiries, or a personal consultation, please contact our Business Development team via email.
Below you will find an overview of all available training topics, including a detailed description with all relevant information.
Introduction to CENELEC Standards
In modern railway engineering, a thorough understanding of the CENELEC standards (EN 50126, EN 50716, EN 50129) is the key to success. Given increasing system complexity and strict regulatory requirements, in-depth knowledge of RAMSS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety, Security) is essential for implementing projects on time, in compliance with regulations, and safely.
User Training RAMS
In the railway industry, mastering RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) is not only a normative requirement, but a decisive competitive advantage. Complex systems require a deep understanding of how technical reliability and operational safety intertwine. This training provides the necessary tools to turn the CENELEC specifications into real project successes and to systematically minimise risks.
User Training EN50716
In modern rail vehicles and signalling systems, software serves as the central control unit. The new EN 50716:2023 standard has harmonized and clarified the requirements for software development. This training course provides the necessary expertise to manage software projects—from initial requirements through to assessment—in a manner that is compliant with standards, safe, and efficient, in accordance with the latest CENELEC standards.
User Training Introduction Validation
Not every project participant needs to master validation down to the smallest detail, but everyone needs to understand how it works. This half-day compact course offers an efficient introduction to the world of validation. It clears up misunderstandings between verification and validation and shows why the independence of the validator is indispensable for successful approval according to EN 50126, 50716 and 50129.
Role Training Validation Management
Validation is the decisive step towards approval: it provides objective proof that a system fulfils its purpose and complies with all safety requirements. As systems in the railway sector become more and more complex, the requirements for the independency of and methodology by validators are also increasing. This training course provides in-depth knowledge of the roles, tasks and documentation obligations according to EN 50126, EN 50716 and EN 50129 in order to bring approval processes to a safe conclusion.
Role Training Safety Management
While RAMS experts provide the technical analysis, the Safety Manager is the architect and guardian of the entire safety process. In this role training, participants learn how to implement the complex requirements of EN 50126, EN 50716 and EN 50129 in a structured manner. The focus is on governance: from strategic safety planning to monitoring the hazard log to successfully defending the safety case against experts.
Safety Culture Workshop
In railway technology, safety is not a purely technical attribute, but the result of a lived culture. In complex projects, risks often arise at the interfaces of cooperation. This workshop addresses the “human factors” and creates a common understanding of safety responsibility to not only manage errors but proactively prevent them through a collaborative way of working.
