In the current issue of the technical journal "Eisenbahntechnische Rundschau" (4/2022), an article by Matthis Leicht, Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Bock and PD Dr.-Ing. habil. Lars Schnieder has been published. (German only)

To increase the availability of rail vehicle fleets, operators and manufacturers install condition monitoring systems on the vehicles. The resulting systematic collection of field data is the basis of a continual improvement of the construction and maintenance of rail vehicles. In their article, Matthis Leicht, Ulrich Bock and Lars Schnieder highlight the solution approach of a service-oriented information management based on the European data infrastructure GAIA-X.
