Lars Schnieder and Ren\u00e9 S. Hosse was published with the title &#8220;Leitfaden Automotive Cybersecurity Engineering&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>What&#8217;s not secure is not safe &#8211; special protective measures are required to ensure that the functional safety of motor vehicles is not compromised by unauthorized access from outside. This <em>essential<\/em> uses concrete examples to illustrate how the attack security of automotive systems is taken into account from the outset through targeted system design, implementation and testing. With a view to the production and operation of automotive systems, it becomes clear that protection against unauthorized access does not end with the completion of development.
