Ulrich Bock and PD Dr.-Ing. habil. Lars Schnieder was published.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>To increase the availability of rail vehicle fleets, operators and manufacturers install condition monitoring systems on the vehicles. The resulting systematic collection of field data is the basis for continuous improvement in the design and maintenance of rail vehicles. Due to a lack of standardization, the industry has developed many proprietary data infrastructures in recent years. In practice, this leads to both technical and organizational hurdles that stand in the way of a cross-manufacturer and cross-operator database.<\/p>\n\n<p>In their article, Matthis Leicht, Ulrich Bock and Lars Schnieder shed light on the solution approach of service-oriented information management based on the European data infrastructure GAIA-X.<\/p>\n\n<p>Are you interested in the entire article?
