These also pose special challenges in some places.<\/p>\n\n<p>In addition to the purely technical system decision, there is also the question of how the redundant radio system should be operated. Two key questions emerge. On the one hand, whether it would make sense from the transport company&#8217;s point of view to place the operation of both redundant radio systems in the hands of external service providers or whether it would make more sense to operate one or even both mobile radio systems in-house. Secondly, the question of whether a transport company should place some of the activities required to operate a radio system in the hands of external service providers.<br\/>The resulting advantages and disadvantages are examined in detail by Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil.
