Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
In mechanical and plant engineering, the Machinery Directive is the most important regulation for conformity assessment. For example, it prescribes a risk assessment and the preparation of certain technical documents. We support you in the research of directives, the research of harmonized standards, prepare the risk assessment and necessary documents, right up to the compliant operating instructions for your product. The necessary technical documentation and proof of compliance with safety and health protection requirements is an essential part of your legally compliant conformity assessment. The involvement of our experts in your project refers, for example, to the preparation of a risk assessment in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12100, proof of functional safety documentation based on DIN EN ISO 13849-1 or systematic validation in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13849-2.
Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU
Electrical equipment within certain voltage limits falls within the scope of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. It also requires an analysis of the risks associated with the product in order to meet the essential health and safety requirements. We support and advise you on compliance with these requirements.
Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU
The term "pressure equipment" in Directive 2014/68/EU covers containers, steam boilers, pipelines, pressure-retaining equipment as well as equipment with safety functions with an internal overpressure of more than 0.5 bar. We support you in the practical implementation of the associated requirements.
ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU
The ATEX directive 2014/34/EU serves to protect against explosions. It is relevant when technical equipment with a potential ignition source is installed in an explosive atmosphere consisting of an air-dust or air-gas mixture. For the conformity assessment, the occurring ignition sources must be analysed and a zone classification has to be carried out. Explosion protection experts will help you to comply with the requirements and draw up the necessary documents.
Operating instructions according to DIN EN 80-79-1
We summarize the results of the risk assessment for machines and systems that have been assessed by us, for example as part of a conformity assessment, and prepare a legally compliant manual for operating the machine.
Expert opinions, examinations Consultations
We offer specific questions on safety technology, technical documents or, for example, the determination of a necessary need for action, as well as targeted testing or advice. On request, we can also formulate these results in the form of statements or expert opinions.
Internal process auditing for conformity assessment
The conformity assessment according to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC is a process. Like other processes in your company, it requires constant further development and improvement in order to meet today's dynamic requirements.
Promote the systematic learning of your organisation by auditing in this area. As a result of the audit, you will be able to identify the need for improvements and determine preventive and corrective measures in order to stabilise your management system in the long term and improve it permanently.
Our certified auditors will not only point out deviations or weaknesses during the implementation, but also generate added value for your company.
Individual training courses and workshops
We support you with a seminar program specifically tailored to your needs. We will take into account your specific machine and the previous knowledge of your employees. In training courses, we can teach you the basics of the Machinery Directive or risk assessment. In advanced workshops, for example, the implementation of a risk assessment can be intensively trained taking into account your individual needs.
