ESE GmbH and BMW Group with lecture at safetronic.2019 in Stuttgart

Dr.-Ing. Lars Schnieder and Peter Krumbach from the BMW Group gave a lecture on the positive risk assessment as an approval standard for highly automated driving at the safetronic symposium in Stuttgart on 5 November 2019.

safetronic.2019 in Stuttgart offered a bilingual exchange of experience and a forum for best practices in the field of functional safety in the automotive sector. As a competent partner in the field of Functional Safety Management and Consulting, ESE GmbH, represented by Dr.-Ing. Lars Schnieder, was also involved in the exchange of experience within the industry. Together with Peter Krumbach from the BMW Group, Dr.-Ing. Lars Schnieder presented the analogies between the approval procedures for pharmaceuticals and highly automated driving and gave an outlook on the further measures required for the successful introduction of highly automated driving.
